- Account Registration

3.3. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Use of Services
4.1. Compliance: You agree to use Cartago in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4.2. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:

- Selling on Cartago
5.1. Listing Products: Sellers must provide accurate and detailed descriptions of products. All products must comply with Cartago’s guidelines and applicable laws.
5.2. Transaction Fees: Cartago charges a 5% transaction fee on each successful sale. This fee will be deducted from the total amount paid by the Buyer.
5.3. Order Fulfillment: Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders in a timely and accurate manner. Sellers must ensure that products are shipped and delivered as described in the listings.
5.4. Returns and Refunds: Sellers must clearly outline their return and refund policies. These policies must comply with applicable consumer protection laws. Buyers may request refunds according to the Seller’s stated policies. If a dispute arises, Cartago may mediate between the Buyer and Seller to reach a resolution.
- Buying on Cartago
6.1. Purchases: When purchasing products, Buyers agree to provide accurate information and promptly pay for purchases.
6.2. Disputes: Buyers should contact Sellers directly to resolve any issues with purchases. If a resolution cannot be reached, Buyers can escalate the issue to Cartago for mediation.
- Payments
7.1. Payment Processing: Payments are processed through our secure payment gateway. All transactions are subject to verification and approval.
7.2. Payment Methods: Cartago accepts various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other secure payment options as made available on the platform.
7.3. Payment Terms: Payment for products must be made at the time of purchase. In some cases, Cartago may facilitate pre-authorized payments where funds are held until the transaction is complete.
7.4. Currency: All transactions are conducted in the currency specified on the product listing. Currency conversion fees may apply if you are transacting in a currency different from your account currency.
7.5. Transaction Fees: Cartago charges a 5% transaction fee on each successful sale, which is automatically deducted from the payment to the Seller.
7.6. Payment Disputes: Any payment disputes must be reported to Cartago within 14 days of the transaction. Cartago will investigate and mediate disputes to reach a resolution.
- Shipping
8.1. Shipping Responsibilities: Sellers are responsible for shipping products to Buyers in a timely manner. Sellers must use reliable shipping methods and provide tracking information where applicable.
8.2. Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are determined by the Seller and should be clearly stated in the product listing. Buyers are responsible for paying shipping costs unless otherwise specified.
8.3. Delivery Time: Sellers must provide an estimated delivery time and strive to meet these deadlines. Any delays must be communicated to the Buyer promptly.
8.4. Customs and Import Duties: Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and other related charges that may apply when shipping products internationally.
8.5. Shipping Insurance: Sellers are encouraged to provide shipping insurance for valuable items. Any additional costs for insurance should be specified in the product listing.
8.6. Shipping Disputes: Any disputes regarding shipping (e.g., lost or damaged items) should be reported to Cartago. We will assist in resolving these issues between the Buyer and Seller.
- Refunds
9.1. Refund Policy: You may return products within 15 working days of receiving them for a refund or exchange, provided they are in their original condition and packaging. Certain items, such as perishable goods, custom-made products, or items marked as non-returnable, are not eligible for return.
Each Seller on Cartago is responsible for establishing their refund policies. Buyers must adhere to the Seller’s stated policies when requesting a refund.
9.2. Refund Process: To initiate a return, contact our customer service team for a return authorization and instructions. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. If a refund is approved by the Seller, Cartago will facilitate the refund process through the original payment method used for the purchase.
9.3. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute over a refund, Cartago may intervene to mediate between the Buyer and Seller to achieve a fair resolution.
- Intellectual Property
10.1. Ownership: Cartago and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services and content provided through the platform.
10.2. User Content: By posting content on Cartago, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the content in connection with our Services.
- Limitation of Liability
11.1. Disclaimer: Cartago provides the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Services.
11.2. Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cartago shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
- Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Cartago harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
